Dari jauh terdengar suara ombak berteriakan
Pasir putih bak tempat tidur nan lembut yang berhamparan
Seolah ingin mengajakku nyiur itu berlambai-lambaian
Sang Raja siang pulang ke tempat peraduan
Dewi malam memperlihatkan sinar emasnya dengan senang
Langit hitam bertaburan bintang
Malam dingin menerkam tulang
Tetapi indahnya pantai menarik sekumpulan orang
Waktu sudah lama berjalan
Perlahan sekumpulan orang itu pergi tinggal orang yang sedang berjualan
Pantai nan indah itu pun kutinggalkan
Setelah semuanya pergi tinggal pantai yang sunyi sendirian

Pantun - jenis pantun

Kumpulan pantun dapat dikelompokan jenisnya, misalnya ada pantun anak-anak, pantun nasihat, pantun percintaan, pantun religi dll.

Belajar Menyulam hasilnya Rapi
Diterusin merenda disuguhi bakwan,
Benar-benar malam ini terasa sepi,
Pada kemana ya kawan-kawan.

Kalah itu lawannya menang,
Keduanya adalah hasil tempur,
Mungkin lagi bersenang-senang,
Saatnya menikmati hari libur.

Niat pagi hari sarapan bubur,
Supaya siang tidaklah lapar,
Enaknya yang pada berlibur,
Saya harus berkutat belajar.

Rujak petis pakai kedondong,
Untuk dibawa bekal mendaki,
Kalo gitu mah sama aja dong,
Saya duduk disini cari rejeki.

Ke Ciledug jual abu gosok,
Kerja keras biar dapet fulus,
Jedag-jedug mikirin besok,
Semoga saja saya bisa lulus.

Disebelah ada kebun pepaya,
Sebelahnya lagi tempat gerabah,
Yakinlah dan tetap berupaya,
Insya Allah munajatnya terijabah.

Bulan bangkit di langit kelam,
Cahayanya redup serasa gulita,
Hari berganti ditengah malam,
Saatnya menutup sepasang mata.

Lelah sudah habis memahat,
Dari kemarin harus lembur,
Sudah saatnya kini istirahat,
Ayo cepetan pada tidur.

Kumat lagi kelakuannya,
Sering manyun semakin jadi,
Selamat pagi semuanya,
Yang baru bangun ayo mandi.

Tersenyum manis pasti tak akan rugi,
Apalagi paginya sudah menggosok gigi,
Embun menetes pertanda sudah pagi,
Sudah saatnya untuk beraktivitas lagi.

Sendiri, sendiri ku diam, diam dan merenung
Merenungkan jalan yang kan membawaku pergi
Pergi tuk menjauh, menjauh darimu
Darimu yang mulai berhenti
Berhenti mencoba, mencoba bertahan
Bertahan untuk terus bersamaku

Narrative Text - The Monkey and the Crocodile

One day there was a monkey. He wanted to cross a river. There he saw a crocodile so he asked the crocodile to take him across the other side of the river. The crocodile agree and told the monkey to jump on its back. Then the crocodile swam down the river with the monkey on his top.

 Unluckily, the crocodile was very hungry, he stopped in the middle of the river and said to the monkey, “My father is very sick. He has to eat the heart of the monkey. So he will be healthy again.”

 At the time, the monkey was in dangerous situation and he had to think hard. Then he had a good idea. He told the crocodile to swim back to the river bank. “What’s for?” asked the crocodile. “Because I don’t bring my heart,” said the monkey. “I left it under a tree, near some coconuts in the river bank.”

 The crocodile agreed and turned around. He swam back to the bank of the river. As soon as they reached the river bank, the monkey jumped off the crocodile’s back. Then he climbed up to the top of a tree.

 “Where is your heart?” asked the crocodile. “You are foolish,” said the monkey to the crocodile. “Now I am free and I have my heart.

Narrative text - Princess Rasyida

 

When the roses blossomed, a pretty baby girl was born in the place of Barakah. She was named Princess Rasyida. The name rasyida was derived from the word Rasyid, meaning intelligent. Princess Rasyida grew up to be a smart girl. She liked to read, as well as find out new things.

One day princess rasyida received an invitation to Prince Haikal birthday party. The other princesses were busy finding new gowns and birthday presents. When princess Rasyida thought about her plan for coming to the party, suddenly a little bird flew into her bedroom. “I just heard a conversation between two persons on the street they are going to hurt Prince Haikal at the party this evening” said the bird which was princess Rasyida’s best friend. “oh, we have to prevent them from doing so. Do you know how they look?” asked princess Rasyida. “No I don’t. their faces hidden behind a shawl I believe this evening they will come in disguised. I also overheard that they will carry some metal arrows ”  informed the little bird.  

Princess Rasyida thought hard. Finally she found the way. She made a necklace with a magnetic pendant. She will give the necklace as her birthday present for prince Haikal. When Princess Rasyida presented the necklace, many guests criticized her. “How come a princess gives the prince a magnetic necklace which has no value at all” they whispered. The kind hearted Prince Haikal immediately wore the magnetic necklace.

 During the party, suddenly a guard stood in front of Prince Haikal. He aimed his arrow directly at prince. Fortunately The arrow aimed at Prince Haikal changed its direction. Because the tip of arrow was made of iron, it was pulled by the magnetic pendant. Prince Haikal wa saved.

The guard s immediately captured the disguised. “thank you Princess Rasyida because your present my life is saved” said prince Haikal. “The real help comes from God. I only help as best as I can” replied princess Rasyida.

The other guests were so sorry for insulting Princess Rasyida earlier. They acknowledged Princess Rasyida’s intelligence in choosing the right present for Prince Haikal. No wonder that several years later Prince Haikal married princess Rasyida.

 

Narrative text - Queen of Arabia and Three Sheiks

Maura, who like to be thought of as the most beautiful and powerful queen of Arabia, had many suitors. One by one she discarded them, until her list was reduced to just three sheiks. The three sheiks were all equally young and handsome. They were also rich and strong. It was very hard to decide who would be the best of them.

One evening, Maura disguised herself and went to the camp of the three sheiks. As they were about to have dinner, Maura asked them for something to eat. The first gave her some left over food. The second Sheik gave her some unappetizing camel’s tail. The third sheik, who was called Hakim, offered her some of the most tender and tasty meat. After dinner, the disguised queen left the sheik’s camp.

The following day, the queen invited the three sheiks to dinner at her palace. She ordered her servant to give each one exactly what they had given her the evening before. Hakim, who received a plate of delicious meat, refused to eat it if the other two sheiks could not share it with him.

This Sheik Hakim’s act finally convinced Queen Maura that he was the man for her. “Without question, Hakim is the most generous of you” she announced her choice to the sheiks. “So it is Hakim I will marry”.

Narrative text -Romeo and juliet

 

 In the town of Verona there lived two families, the Capulets and the Montagues. They engaged in a bitter feud. Among the Montagues was Romeo, a hot-blooded young man with an eye for the ladies. One day, Romeo attended the feast of the Capulets', a costume party where he expected to meet his love, Rosaline, a haughty beauty from a well-to-do family. Once there, however, Romeo's eyes felt upon Juliet, and he thought of Rosaline no more.

The vision of Juliet had been invading his every thought. Unable to sleep, Romeo returned late that night to the Juliet's bedroom window. There, he was surprised to find Juliet on the balcony, professing her love for him and wishing that he were not a "Montague", a name behind his own. "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Romeo was ready to deny his name and professed his love. The two agreed to meet at nine o-clock the next morning to be married.

Early the next morning, Romeo came to Friar Lawrence begging the friar to marry him to Juliet. The Friar performed the ceremony, praying that the union might someday put an end to the feud between the two families. He advised Romeo kept the marriage a secret for a time.

On the way home, Romeo chanced upon his friend Mercutio arguing with Tybalt, a member of the Capulet clan. That qurreling last caused Merquito died. Romeo was reluctant no longer. He drew his sword and slew Tybalt died. Romeo realized he had made a terrible mistake. Then Friar Lawrence advised Romeo to travel to Mantua until things cool down. He promised to inform Juliet.

In the other hand, Juliet's father had decided the time for her to marry with Paris. Juliet consulted Friar Lawrence and made a plot to take a sleeping potion for Juliet which would simulate death for three days. The plot proceeded according to the plan. Juliet was sleeping in death.

Unfortunately, The Friar's letter failed to reach Romeo. Under the cover of darkness, he broke into Juliet's tomb. Romeo kissed the lips of his Juliet one last time and drank the poison. Meanwhile, the effects of the sleeping potion wear off. Juliet woke up calling for Romeo. She found her love next to her but was lying dead, with a cup of poison in his hand. She tried to kiss the poison from his lips, but failed. Then Juliet put out his dagger and plunged it into her breast. She died

Narrative text -Smart Parrot

 

Once upon time, a man had a wonderful parrot. There was no other parrot like it. The parrot could say every word, except one word. The parrot would not say the name of the place where it was born. The name of the place was Catano.

The man felt excited having the smartest parrot but he could not understand why the parrot would not say Catano. The man tried to teach the bird to say Catano however the bird kept not saying the word.

At the first, the man was very nice to the bird but then he got very angry. “You stupid bird!” pointed the man to the parrot. “Why can’t you say the word? Say Catano! Or I will kill you” the man said angrily. Although he tried hard to teach, the parrot would not say it. Then the man got so angry and shouted to the bird over and over; “Say Catano or I’ll kill you”. The bird kept not to say the word of Catano.

One day, after he had been trying so many times to make the bird say Catano, the man really got very angry. He could not bear it. He picked the parrot and threw it into the chicken house. There were four old chickens for next dinner “You are as stupid as the chickens. Just stay with them” Said the man angrily. Then he continued to humble; “You know, I will cut the chicken for my meal. Next it will be your turn, I will eat you too, stupid parrot”. After that he left the chicken house.

The next day, the man came back to the chicken house. He opened the door and was very surprised. He could not believe what he saw at the chicken house. There were three death chickens on the floor. At the moment, the parrot was standing proudly and screaming at the last old chicken; “Say Catano or I’ll kill you”.

 

Asal mula tata surya - Teori terbentuknya tata surya

TEORI KABUT

Teori Kabut disebut juga Teori Nebula.Teori tersebut dikemukakan oleh Immanuel Kart dan Simon de Laplace.Menurut teori ini mula-mula ada sebuah nebula yang baur dan hampir bulat yang berotasi dengan kecepatan sangat lambat sehingga mulai menyusut.Akibatnya terbentuklah sebuah cakram datar bagian tengahnya.penyusutan berlanjut dan terbentuk matahari di pusat cakram.Cakram berotasi lebih cepat sehinggabagian tepi-tepi cakram terlepas membentuk gelang-gelang bahan.Kemudian bahan dalam gelang-gelang memadat menjadi planet-planet yang berevolusi mengitari Matahari.

TEORI PASANG SURUT

Teori Pasang Surut pertama kali disampaikan oleh Buffon.Buffon menyatakan bahwa tata surya berasal dari materi Matahari yang terlempar akibat bertumbukan dengan sebuah komet. Teori pasang surut yang disampaikan Buffon kemudian diperbaiki oleh Sir James Jeans dan Harold Jeffreys.Mereka berpendapat bahwa tata surya terbentuk oleh efek pasang gas-gas Matahari akibat gaya gravitasi bintang besar yang melintasi Matahari.Gas-gas tersebut terlepas dan kemudian mengelilingi Matahari.Gas-gas panas tersebut kemudian berubah menjadi bola-bola cair dan secara berlahan mendingin serta membentuk lapisan keras menjadi planet-planet dan satelit.

TEORI AWAN DEBU(PROTO PLANET)

Teori ini dikemukakan oleh Carl von Weizsaecker kemudian disempurnakan oleh Gerard P.Kuiper pada tahun 1950.Teori proto planet menyatakan bahwa tata surya terbentuk oleh gumpalan awan gas dan yang jumlahnya sangat banyak.Suatu gumpalan mengalami pemampatan dan menarik partikel-partikel debu membentuk gumpalan bola.Pada saat itulah terjadi pilinan yang membuat gumpalan bola menjadi pipih menyerupai cakram (tebal bagian tengah dan pipih di bagian tepi).Karena bagian tengah berpilin lambat mengakibatkan terjadi tekanan yang menimbulkan panas dan cahaya(Matahari).Bagian tepi cakram berpilin lebih cepat sehingga terpecah menjadi gumpalan yang lebih kecil.Gumpalan itu kemudian membeku menjadi planet dan satelit.

TEORI PLANETESIMAL

Thomas C . Chamberlin seorang ahli geologi dan Forest R Moulton seorang ahli astronomi mengemukakan teori yang dikenal dengan teori planetesimal yang berarti planet kecil. Teori ini menyatakan bahwa matahari telah ada sebagai salah satu dari bintang. Suatu saat matahari berpapasan dengan sebuah bintang dengan jarak yang tidak terlalu jauh shingga terjadi peristiwa pasang naik pada permukaan matahari maupun bintang itu, serta bagian dari massa matahari tertarik kearah bintang. Pada waktu bintang tersebut menjauh, sebagian dari massa matahari jatuh kembali ke permukaan mathari dan sebagian lagi terhambur keluar angkasa disekitar matahari. Hal inilah yang dinamakan planetesimal yang kemudian menjadi planet-planet yang beredar mengelilingi orbitnya.

TEORI BINTANG KEMBAR

Menurut teori ini, matahari mungkin merupakan bintang kembar. Kemudian bintang yang satu meledak menjadi kepingan-kepingan. Akibat pengaruh gaya gravitasi bintang lainnya maka kepingan-kepingan ini bergerak mengitari bintang-bingtang itu dan menjadi planet-planet. Bintang yang tidak meladak tetap sebagai bintang yang sekarang disebut dengan matahari.

TEORI BIG BANG

 pada akhir 1950an para pembela teori keadaan telah mulai agak mundur ketika para ahli astronomi memprediksi sumber gelombang radio jauh yang berasal dari quasar yang jaraknya sangat jauh. ini merupakan bukti adanya dentuman besar (big bang).

 tahapan terjadinya dentuman besar :

 1. segera setelah terjadi dentuman besar, alam semesta mengembang dengan cepat hingga menjadi kira-kira 2000 kali matahari.

 2. sebelum berusia satu detik, semua partikel hadir dalam keseimbangan. satu detik setelah dentuman, alam semesta membentuk partikel-partikel dasar yaitu elektron, proton, neutron dan neutrino pada suhu 10 milyar kelvin.

 3. kira-kira 500 ribu tahun telah terjadi ledakan, lambat laun alam semesta menjadi dingin hingga mencapai suhu 3000 K. partikel-partikel dasar membentuk benih kehidupan alam semesta.

 4. gas hidrogen dan helium membentuk kelompok-kelompok gas rapat yang tak teratur. dalam kelompok-kelompok tersebut mulai terbentuk protogalaksi.

 5. antara satu dan dua miliar tahun setelah terjadinya dentuman besar, protogalaksi melahirkan bintang-bintang yang lambat laun berkembang menjadi raksasa merah dan supernova yang merupakan bahan baku kelahiran bintang-bintang baru dalam galaksi.

 6. satu diantara miliaran galaksi yang terbentuk adalah galaksi bimasakti yang didalamnya adalah tata surya kita dengan matahari sebagai bintang yang terdekat dengan bumi.
